Child Custody Evaluation

Child Custody Evaluation

A child custody evaluation consists of both parents undergoing a parental capacity evaluation (see description for PCE), as well as evaluation of the children involved in the dispute. Observations of the parents interactions with the children, home visits to assess their environments, and additional collateral information related to the children are also components of a child custody evaluation. A final report compiling this information is included which addresses the specific parenting questions laid out prior to the evaluation, recommendations for custody, and specific recommendations for each parent and child.
