In Response to the Current Health Pandemic
Dear Clients and Support Persons,
We wanted to take a moment to reach out to assure you that we are doing our part and making every effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19. The practice remains open at this time; however, we have included information below regarding the option for TeleHealth appointments through our secure videoconferencing platform should you feel more comfortable remaining at home or have any symptoms of illness.
In an effort to safeguard the health of our providers and clients, we are also asking that you join us in following the recommendations given by the CDC for healthcare providers summarized below.
-
Along with our regular cleaning routine, we are also wiping down high touch surfaces such as doorknobs, tables, and chairs throughout the day.
-
All employees and clients are asked to comply with recommendations for proper hand washing and/or use of hand sanitizer posted throughout the practice.
-
We are asking that clients limit the number of persons accompanying them for appointments as much as possible to prevent overcrowding in the waiting room. If you prefer to remain in your personal vehicle until the time of your appointment, feel free to send your provider a secure text to his or her direct line, and he or she will contact you when available to begin the appointment.
-
We are requesting that any client who has symptoms of illness, has been in contact with someone with current symptoms, or has recently traveled, please contact his or her clinician via phone to reschedule the appointment or make arrangements to attend via Telehealth.
Please help us in our efforts to ensure the community’s health as a whole, by complying with the recommendations given above.
Please see links to documents below including instructions for setting up TeleHealth appointments (click picture) and information regarding helpful ways to maintain overall mental health and wellness in the wake of a worldwide pandemic.
Thank you and please don’t hesitate to contact us with any concerns you might have.
